Tom and Frank are both active in the international business world, but there is an important difference between them.
Tom misses out on sales and business opportunities. He doesn’t always understand his current and potential foreign clients. They are often at cross purposes and he cannot give a good answer to their questions. Tom doesn’t realize that he is not fluent enough in their language to get his message across.
